In the many years of law practice, I found often that I was missing the things I needed to do for the day.  I started a DOEMS list of those cases that would need to be addressed and what specific calls or filings would be necessary to represent my client.  I would have unexpected events and calls coming in. but I found that if I focused on the Doems list things could be accomplished that day or at least by the next day.

Ephesians 4:29 — Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
