BLESSINGS TO THOSE FOLLOWING YESHUA (JESUS),

When I was about 17, I was driving home from Storm Lake and had barely left town with my engine roaring and my twin exhaust rumbling down the winter road.

I was thinking what a great day to be alive, and really was not paying any heed to the road conditions. When I came over the hill, I saw that I was on ice, and to make matters worse there was a propane truck turning into a propane store with no left turn signal, and yes another truck coming the other direction to block all escape.  I hit the brakes and just started sliding toward the two trucks, I turned my wheel toward the ditch, but still kept sliding toward the trucks.  In a second or two I saw all my life flash by.

I screamed in my head, “Save me!!!” and just feet from the propane truck my car turned and shot into the ditch of flying snow and climbed the embankment and smashed into a barbed wire fence.

As I sat there shaking, I was thinking if only I had not made bad choices, I could have had those seconds back, and still be sitting right in the middle of the road.

We have all made some bad choices, but we need to get up and start walking the narrow path to Life.
