BLESSINGS TO THOSE NOT LOSING HOPE IN HARD TIMES,

In times of hurt and despair, it is hard to see the path that is laid before us.

Frankly, we just need time to weep and think of our loved ones.

1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

In the late 60s, we sang in Crestland's boy's choir, and during practice

we would find ourselves singing a song over and over until our Instructor

knew we were singing as one. Upperclassmen would sometimes hit us

over the head with a drum stick which didn't make us feel that close.

However when the time came to sing as one, and we heard the words

of Praise, I am sure that others felt like me that we were lifted to

higher ground.
