It was the late 70s and according to the Colo. Supreme Court I was approved to
practice as an attorney. I had reached a goal that I had strived for since my sophomore year of high school. And now only a couple of years into private law practice, I didn't have a clue how I was even going to get up to face the day, let alone drive to the office to play attorney and hear a new day of serious problems people were experiencing. It was just a few months later we went up around Dillon . Here's some views of Dillion:

I still felt sick there, and realized you can't run away from yourself.
In the weeks that followed, I would awake in the morning to the little noisey VW bug that delivered the paper and wish that the dawn had not come. You could say my toenails were higher than my head. It was about then I quit my job, and walked out with a box of diplomas and law stuff that I just left in a closet and weeped how I had let my family down.
There is someone reading this salvo today that knows what it is like to have toenails higher than your head. I don't have any magic advice, but I will say this,
Don't listen to the Deceiver that says your life doesn't matter, there is plenty of hope and joy ahead if we will embrace Love and leave the hurt behind.
