PASCHAL/PESACH…IMCOMING SALVO…27 MARCH A.D. 2022

BLESSINGS TO THOSE WALKING IN THE WAY OF THE MASTER,

Maybe some of us are a little confused or perplexed by the setting of the observance of Resurrection Day by some tradition of men.  Even at a young age I knew there was some connection between Passover and Resurrection Day.  There were movies on TV about both in the same week if nothing else.

Here is some of the history on setting the observance of Resurrection Day/Paschel/Easter
if you care to read, and do math which I never really cared much about.

The word “Paschal,” which is used in the ecclesiastical (Christian church) calendar, comes from “Pascha,” a transliteration of the Aramaic word meaning “Passover. In reference to the full Moon, Paschal refers to the date of the full Moon determined many years ago as the 14th day of a lunar month.  Ancient calculations (made in a.d. 325) did not take into account certain lunar motions.

So, the Paschal Full Moon is the 14th day of a lunar month occurring on or after March 21 according to a fixed set of ecclesiastical calendar rules, which does not always match the date of the astronomical full Moon nearest the astronomical spring equinox.  When Is Easter in 2022? The reason for that lies …

Maybe this much we can all agree upon:

1. We all have sins that we want a Just God to Passover,

2.  We really don't believe our “good works” are going to be enough to save us from an All Knowing God,

3.  We really need a substitute to come and clear the debt of sin for us,

4.  There is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.

Maybe some say I don't want to believe in any of this, and there never comes a day to give an account.

I have heard it said, “This is the way I have always done things and there is no reason to change now.”

How about if we are headed for a dark Abyss that is coming in our future?
