BLESSINGS THIS DAY TO THE FLOCK FOLLOWING THE GOOD SHEPHERD,
A Brother once pointed out to me that all that was recorded in the Torah and all the other parts of the Old Testament were recorded for our benefit. I suddenly started seeing that yes we would all have times of facing Jericho (Joshua 6), and we would find times of being down at the Red Sea and trapped (Exodus 14). Suddenly the Old Testament was more than an account of the Law, it was the Word coming alive and telling us the path to take for Life.
Was dreaming a strange dream last night about a little baby boy named Ezra. I knew I had heard the name in the Bible.
A search and this is the first thing I found:
I had not seen how even Cyrus, Darius and other kings of Persia had bent the knee to the Hebrew God, until I read the Book of Ezra, a descendant priest with lineage running back to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest. Ezra 7:1-5.
If we truly want Revival, it starts with us desiring to be extremely close to the Love of the Good Shepherd, and Yes praying for His leading in Love is extremely important too!!!
If people can not see the Saviour in us, what do we really have to offer?
