It was on the 3rd of July that I went out to do some weed wacking.

I kept the 4 Runner close by because it was one of those days where my left knee was aching and feeling weak.  I had done only about 20 minutes of work, when I noticed the tree behind me needed trimming around it.

I turned to go, but only felt a split second of the fall then I was on the rough blacktop with pain in the left arm and a bang on the head.  I looked and saw the blood running down my arm from my elbow and through the fingers.  As I laid there I realized that I was not able to get up.  My legs were two weak and the 4 Runner was out of reach.  After laying there awhile, I accepted the fact I was going to have to walk on my bare knees on the blacktop and try to get to the 4 Runner to help get me up.

We have all taken falls and the worst are the ones that have to do with injury to our spirit.  We are going to need to seek a Refuge where we find renewal so we can stand.
