There is a tendency to make prayer our last resort.  We apply our prior experiences and think we can reason our way through a trial.  Most of us by now have had life experiences that tell us there is nothing we are going to be able to do on our own.  We may even see that moving toward The Light gives us more understanding of the grand plan of The Almighty.

Drawing Near to God
