At a very young age, I learned that the Church was a building where people
went to worship, and it was important to be wearing a tight buttoned white shirt and a tie. They called it putting on your Sunday best.
Later I would see on TV where a tornado had destroyed a Church building,
and somebody would say it is the Devil trying to destroy the Church. I would ponder, can a Church be destroyed by simply destroying a building?

We have seen more than a few debates over the years on whether the seating should be cushioned pews or separate expensive chairs. There were debates on getting the parking lot blacktopped, or sending more to help Brethren in other locations. Even debates over whether we need another van to transport the youth once a year to a working location as evangelism versus helping to support evangelists in the community.
Saying all this it should be clear that the Church is all the Believers following Yeshua (Jesus), and not how big a building we can pack people into.
