BLESSINGS TO THOSE REFUSING TO GIVE IN TO THE FLESH,

When I was on the CHS track team we would time our speeds at the 100, 220, and 440 yard dash. I had played sports where scoring was involved, but this running for the sake of a better race time was both difficult and a little disheartening.

At one track meet, I was running in second place on a 220, but my legs began to ache and breathing was harder and I saw three runners pass me by in just those last 20-30 yards.

We are called to run the race to win, for a crown is laid up for all those that Overcome.
