BLESSINGS TO THOSE RECEIVING LOVE TO GIVE TO ALL,

We revisit today 1 Cor. 13 which a Brother asked me to read to him way back in the 90s.

I really wasn't aware of the Power that lay there in His Word. I did pretty good at reading,

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

This Brother then asked me to read again and put God in place of the word Love. No problem with the reading. Then my Brother said put your name in where it says Love.

I started out, Ron Way is pat…, but I couldn't do it, Ron Way is pati…but my throat tightened even more and now the tears rolled down my cheeks.

My Brother just laughed and patted my hand and said he understood.
