When I was maybe a first or second grader our family journeyed at night to Ida Grove where we had been told that a wonderful nativity scene was presented.   We were told we would see Baby Jesus.

It seemed like it took us an hour or more to get there.  Upon arriving, there was even further walking in the stream of the large crowd walking toward the nativity scene.  We waited in line even longer to get a glimpse of the baby Jesus.  When we were standing directly across from him there was great light, but I was disappointed because there was only a baby doll laying there to represent Jesus and not Jesus himself.
