BLESSINGS TO THOSE REACHING OUT TO SAVE,
It was sometime around the summer of 2013, that part of the family decided to take a raft trip down Clear Clear. We shouldn't let the name Clear Creek confuse us, it is far from being a creek, and the roaring water surging tells us that we need to listen to the raft guide. Many people have drowned in Clear Creek right there in Idaho Springs over the years.
The raft guide told us two important things before we got into the river:
1. If someone falls overboard, everybody can't rush to their aid, just the closest one or two rafters (otherwise the whole raft can tip over);
2. When we approach the interstate bridge, start rowing as fast as possible to our left or we will be caught up in the rapids that only the most skilled dare to navigate.
We had only travelled about a quarter of a mile, and I noticed to my right a young girl floating in shock, and I reached out to pull her aboard. I couldn't do it and Crista helped pull the young girl back in the raft.
As we got to the Interstate bridge we were all rowing the best we could but the raft staff saw we were missing our mark, and so they ran down the river edge to grab us in.
Surely by now we can see we are in this TOGETHER, and when we see someone overboard is it not life saving to reach out to them in Love?
INCOMING SALVO…HEED THE CALL…14 DEC. A.D. 2022
Counting it all joy WHEN WE LET YESHUA (JESUS) IN,
