BLESSINGS TO THOSE SEEKING FREEDOM,
In this world, most of us will experience at some point being a motherless child when our mothers pass on to glory before us.   We desire the freedom to set aside the trivial things of this world and embrace the freedom found in relationship.

“Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child“, also “Motherless Child“, is a traditional Spiritual. It dates back to the era of slavery in the United States.

An early performance of the song was in the 1870s by the Fisk Jubilee Singers.[1][2] Commonly heard during the Civil rights movement in the United States,[3] it has many variations and has been recorded widely.

From my viewpoint, we can chase after all kinds of things that are temporal or we can find Freedom this day holding fast to that which can not be taken away.
