In the 1990s, an organization called Promise Keepers came into being

mainly starting with the lead of Coach McCartney of the Univ. of Colorado

Buffaloes.  The Coach had a refreshing way of stating what he believed

and some of what he said made others uncomfortable in his firmness 

of conviction to be lead by Christ.

I saw the Promise Keepers movement grow in the churches and 

several of my Brothers and clients over those years asked me to attend

Promise Keepers rallies in Boulder at the Stadium, and other speaker 

rallies.

I had mixed emotions about PK and started to view to many people

getting caught up in wearing T- shirts and special emblems and claiming

they were going to start being Promise Keepers and that what they said

they would do.

From my own personal point of view, I have only met one Promise Keeper 

Who is ever Faithful, and always keeps His Promises.  I think we would be 

wise to follow HIM and not any organization of people.  By The Almighty's

grace may The Holy Spirit always compel us to be wise in following

The Promise Keeper.
