Praising our Father Who puts in the mind & heart that Salvation is not something to be put off for another day,
We came to the Church in Aurora because of a lot of reasons I guess.
A victory over cancer, needing something that made sense in a world running around in confusion, some little ones needing to hear about God, and a flier in our door that pictured a stern looking preacher just up Smoky Hill Road.
Some of you have heard me say this before, but it seemed like in that spring of 1987, the people of this church were reaching out in love, and the preacher kept ending every Sunday sermon with,
“If not today, then when?”
I must admit it was like the words were echoing in my head, and asking me, so just how long do you think you can put God off?
1As God’s fellow workers, then, we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2For He says: “In the time of favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the time of favor; now is the day of salvation! 3We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no one can discredit our ministry.…
2 Cor. 6:1-3
Counting it all joy IN YESHUA (JESUS) OUR SALVATION,
