Blessings to Those that can not be silenced,
Preacher Marshall M. who ran the Outreach of Love was a man that really didn't take much guff. He welcomed all into the Outreach, but made it clear if someone was there to disrupt they would find themselves with a warning, and then grabbed by the collar on another infraction, and put on the street and 86th from the Outreach.
On one of those evenings when the people off the street were being fed, Marshall decided to tell an actual account of two men that were imprisoned together in a Texas prison for life sentences and one of them was a well known murderer. The little guy would play his gospel hour in the evenings and the rugged murderer (more than twice the size of the little guy) would say, “If you don't turn that damn radio off, I am going to kill you one of these days.”
The little guy paid him no heed and kept playing the gospel hour each night.
When the rugged murderer was released from the Texas prison on the pardon of the Texas governor, it is said that the prisoners heard him singing this song:
Counting it all joy BECAUSE HE LIVES!!!
