The times in which we live often result in our response to who is the bad guy.
When we see what Putin does with threats, and an invasion of Ukraine, most people find it very easy to say that Putin is a bad guy. He wants more land and power, he wants to be recognized by others as being wise, he wants to identify those that oppose him as being Nazis, he really isn't interested in the harm and sorrow he causes those around him, he murders those that oppose him, he has no problem lying, he conceals the truth, he wants all the control, he doesn't care who he hurts, he will take out anybody or anything that gets in his way, he is a deceitful man, and he is a lover of self.
My wife and I even talked of going to Ukraine to fight since our number of years is growing short. I said we could hand out sandwiches, but of course that means we can't hand sandwiches to Russian troops because they are the bad guys right?
A Brother and I used to go on the streets of Denver and hand out sandwiches and proclaim the Good News and pray with those that asked for prayer.
