BLESSINGS TO THOSE WITH AN EAR TO HEAR,

Some like me will have to confess we have an opinion on everything, and all too freely give it.  We can listen for maybe just a few seconds, but only to hear what supports our own ideas and then quickly proceed to correct the other person.

When we enter the scriptures we can be in a confusing world, because we want the scriptures to show us approved in our thinking.

Actually I picked up a Bible when I was young, and read it to be religious, and I put it down, thinking this book makes no sense to me.

I wasn't even ready to start to listen.

In a world where billions of words are spoken each day, surely we can find a time to Listen to the Truth.
