Each person starts out with a concept of Grace.  It might be tied to a belief in random luck where some receive Grace because they were in the right place at the right time.  Some people can believe they have received grace because of the good things they have done that merit the receiving of Grace.  I heard it once said that Grace is the undeserved favor of God, and not given based on anything we have done!!!
