Blessings to Those fighting the Good Fight with THE SWORD OF TRUTH,

Over the years we have heard many people in many settings talking about God and trying to make some point.  From my experience, I could hear a “nice fuzzy comment about Love” but soon saw there was no Power in just a “nice fuzzy comment.”
If we want to meet Yeshua (Jesus) in a Bible study we will need to take the time to read His Word aloud, and desire to receive the gift of The Word.
Here are some examples of what I am trying to explain:
1. A lawyer asks what do you think of that Bible verse to a strange little guy wearing a star of David and a Cross, and the reply is it doesn't matter what I think, what does the Bible say.  Read this

19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

(with two more scriptures the lawyer could not read because he couldn't see the page…)

2.  The church met in a Brother's home in the city and a preacher came to take part, but as the Bible scriptures were read the preacher broke down in tears confessing he was having an affair with a married woman in the congregation;

3. Your asked to read 1 Cor. 13 out loud starting at verse 4, and put your name in the place of “Love”

13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;[b] it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
