BLESSINGS TO THOSE LACKING IN GOODNESS,
It is a little strange to me after hearing The Gospel proclaimed over many decades, how we can still find ourselves thinking well the reason The Almighty will receive us into His Heaven is because we have been “good” or because we have done a lot of “good deeds”.
I was talking to a nurse this week as she walked us out of the surgery section, and the question was asked, so how do you know you are going to Heaven when you die?
The nurse's response was paraphrased, well I don't really know that, I guess it is because I have tried to do good while working here.
I said we know that no one is going to make it to heaven based on “good deeds,” otherwise why are there all these crosses hanging on the doorways with Him upon it?
