Blessings to His flock following the Light,
We tell ourselves that somebody else will do it. We don't really need to SERVE. Surely somebody else that sees the hurting
laying in the hospital bed with no one to come and visit will go to them.
There is someone that faces bars each day, and cries out for a kind word from someone; there is someone that used to be our
neighbor, now they never go out and we wonder if they are okay? There is someone we used to talk to and now we don't seem
to even know if they are still alive. Surely, someone else has gone to take our place in all this need?
When we care to love one another we have taken one step into the light and away from darkness in the heart.
12 No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us.
